Our Commitment to Veterans

At Philippine Veterans Bank, our commitment to Filipino veterans extends beyond banking. We continue to support initiatives that promote their welfare, uphold their legacy, and preserve their contributions to the nation.

The VFP Out-Patient Center in Taguig was established by the Board of Trustees for the Veterans of World War II through funds remitted by PVB in accordance with its mandate under the law. The Center provides qualified World War II veterans, their widows, and orphans with free medical and dental services, medicines, eyeglasses, and dentures. Supported by modern medical facilities and a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, the Center remains an important institution dedicated to the health and well-being of our veterans and their families.

Preserving Our History

PVB also plays an important role in preserving the stories and sacrifices of Filipino veterans.

In accordance with the PVB Charter, a portion of the Bank's income is allocated for the maintenance of the BTVWWII Museum, the only museum in the Philippines dedicated to Philippine World War II history.

The museum features life-sized dioramas of wartime encounters, paintings, historical photographs, and artifacts that offer a glimpse into the experiences of Filipinos during the war. Its collection includes medals, water canteens, guerrilla notes, knives, handguns, high-caliber rifles, and other wartime equipment.

More than a collection of historical artifacts, the museum serves as a place where the stories, sacrifices, and courage of Filipino veterans can be remembered and shared with future generations.
